Does waxing hurt?

We’re not going to lie to you, it’s not like being licked by kittens, but it is no way near as painful as your mind ramps it up to be. If we had a pound for every time we heard “Ah it wasn’t that bad” we would be millionaires!

Strip waxing Vs hot wax what’s the difference?

We have different waxes for different areas of the body. In particular we use hot wax for the most sensitive of area i.e the face, underarm and intimate areas. Using hot wax is far less painful than using strips wax and pulls hair directly from the root which results in less snapping of the hair and longer re-growth periods between waxing sessions.. We save strip waxing for the rest of the body i.e legs, arms and back. The warm wax we use is hypoallergenic and fragrance free, perfect for clients with sensitive skin, but strong enough to rid the body of those pesky short course hair.

How long after a wax treatment, can I go to the gym?

It is advised to not do any physical activities that encourage excess sweating for at least 24 hours after your wax treatment.

How long does the hair have to be before waxing?

We recommend at least 2mm long or 2-3 weeks growth after shaving.

I’m pregnant, can I still be waxed?

Yes. Our therapists are highly skilled wax therapists. We take every care to ensure your treatment is done in a safe a comfortable manor. Brazilian and Hollywood waxes are quite popular a week before the due date.

You do male waxing, but do you do male intimate waxing?
